Centro Comercial is a small complex consisting of the Miraflores supermarket, a hardware shop and other associated businesses and restaurants. If you are travelling up from the bottom of Riviera del Sol and you come to the top of the Avenida del Golf, as the road turns left to go down past the driving range take a sharp right and follow the signs. The Centro Commercial is approx 150 yards along this road on your right hand side. It is very handy for all those property owners who live at the top end of Riviera del Sol and Miraflores.

This is the small, but well stocked hardware bazar run by a Spanish husband and wife team, who do speak a little English but are very very helpful. So if you want any DIY equipment, nails, screws, paint etc etc, why not give this local company a try. After all they are trading for our convenience!! Use it or lose it!! The shop faces onto Calle Acuario and you cannot miss it.

Miraflores supermarket which is open 7 days a week, well in the Summer months at least. The Sunday trading hours are relatively short but long enough to buy your Sunday newspapers and bits and pieces. The MAS supermarket inside the Riviera Plaza is closed on Sundays!

Bar Oro - located up the stairs.

Pizzeria Terraza Restaurante, which is basically what it says - a pizzeria which we found had a rather limited menu. It is not an "Italian restaurant", go to the middle of the El Zoco Cenre, Calahonda for the best Italian place. However, if a pizza is all you want give it a try.

Sol y Sombra  is more of a "snack bar" type eating place but that you get a huge jacket potato with a variety of fillings on it, just one of the many things on the menu. If you sit outside on a lovely evening you get an excellent view over some of the Miraflores Golf Course fairways and the the hills in the distance.

This is Quatros Music Bar which hosts live English football all week with 2 large screens inside. It is an English run establishment and is open from around about 5.00pm until 2.30am most days of the week. So if your favourite team is playing on Sky, then go to Quatros and watch the game, we do!

Last but certainly not least is the Papadum Indian Restaurant. We had a meal there recently and we can well recommend it! The decor inside is great and the staff very helpful and friendly and they do have a takeaway menu!

This is a review carried out by the Key to the Mijas Costa booklet on the Papadum: "the restaurant is airy with high ceilings, bright lighting and decor. They have an extensive menu with many old favourites and some great new additions as well. We recommend the Tandoori King Prawns." So what are you waiting for, book now!
