The Taxi fares from Malaga airport have two tariff bands:
Tarrif 1
Weekdays between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00.
(Calculate fare at approx 0,70€ euros per Km, Initial Fare 5.27€, Minimum Fare 12€)
Tarrif 2
Weekdays between 22:00 - 06:00 and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
(Calculate fare at approx 0,85 euro per Km, Initial Fare 7.78€, Minimum Fare 15€)

This is the Taxi rank, adjacent to the Park, at the entrance to Riviera del Sol. we strongly recommend that you use the official taxi services; they all have a taxi sign and official registration and licence details. If you are uncertain about the amount you should be charged, always ask to see the price list and pre-agree the amount.

If you want to explore further afield there are many car rental agencies that will allow you to pick up a car at the airport and leave it there once finished. Riviera del Sol is an easy 25 minute drive from the airport. Arrangements can be made if you wish, to either pick you up at the airport, taking you directly to your apartment/villa or to have a car left for you. I have listed links below to the websites of companies, based in Spain, who offer highly competitive hire rates for cars from Malaga Airport. I have always found email-car-hire.com to be consistently the cheapest!
If you feel there is no need to hire a car, whilst holidaying in Riviera del Sol, there is a good bus service running from Marbella to Fuengirola and return, every half an hour, and there are bus stops in Riviera on both sides of the N340 coast road near the underpass.
As you can see, the timetable below is for the buses running East from Marbella to Fuengirola and leaving Marbella bus station at the listed times, but stops at Riviera del Sol on the way:

As you can see the service is very good and the buses will take you along to Malaga itself, no problem.
